This article will guide you through adding
an Add Prospect Widget to your website. This way prospects/leads that visit you site can be added directly into your ClubReady site.
Requirements - A Master Admin login or a staff type with the following permissions:
- Club Setup : Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access external lead widget setup
- Knowledge of HyperText Markup Language (HTML)
Step 1 - Accessing The Widget Settings

Navigate to Setup > Misc. Setup > Add Lead API > API. On this page you may select a few settings:
Prospect Type - What prospect or lead type will your prospects added via the API be classified as.
Welcome Email - If you would like to send a custom welcome email you
Free Package - A free package may be added to your leads. You will be able to select from any $0 standard price sales package that you have already created.
Step 2 - Accessing The Widget Settings To Add To Your Website

Navigate to Setup > Misc. Setup > Add Lead API. Click on
the Widget tab. Options include:
Optional Return Page On Your Site - Enter in the link to a page on your website that will appear after someone has completed the Add A New Prospect form. If this is left blank then a generic thank you message will be displayed.
Include Referral Type List? - A list of your referral types can be displayed by clicking Yes or No.
Save Phone to which field? - Select either Home Phone or Cell Phone for the new prospect's phone number to be saved under.
Send The Club A Notification Email To - This setting is now found under Setup > Communication > Internal Reports.
To save your changes click on Update. The HTML code to copy and paste into your club website is displayed at the bottom of this page.
Step 3 - Pasting Widget Code Into Html Page
Here is a notepad document with the minimal html
coding required to get this widget to display in a web browser.

The
code copied from the widget page in step 1 is pasted directly into this
document and then saved as an html file (AddProspectWidget.html)
NOTE: A new page is
not necessary for this widget to work. You can paste this code into any
existing webpage and save it.
Step 3 - Viewing The Prospect Widget In A Web Browser
Here is the file from step 2 loaded into a web
browser. This can be done by using the
file command or uploading this file to your website and then typing in the
address to access it.
